For our offices or on a smart working basis, we are looking for
Big Data programmers
to be assigned to on-the-job training courses aimed at placement in software development and design activities.
The successful candidates will be responsible for carrying out the following activities in innovative contexts where the most modern methodologies (e.g. DevOps) are applied:
- technical analysis
- implementation of architectural modules
- development of vertical functions, processes, and services
- testing support
The essential prerequisites that the candidate must possess are:
- degree or diploma in computer science or related disciplines
- excellent knowledge of functional and object-oriented programming principles
- good knowledge of the Scala language and of the Hadoop, Apache Spark, Apache Avro, and Apache Phoenix platforms
- knowledge of SQL and at least one relational database
- at least 2-3 years of significant experience in these areas
- outstanding professionalism in one’s work
- ability to work in a proactive team
The following skills, although not explicitly required, may be an advantage:
- knowledge of the Cloudera platform
- knowledge of Talend and Informatica ETL
The position provides for direct employment with a permanent contract.
